Taste of Jewish Learning: A Transformational Experience at Mayanot

At Mayanot, we're proud to partner with Chabad Houses from around the world to offer Mayanot: Birthright participants an unforgettable morning of immersive Jewish learning.

Through our Taste of Jewish Learning program, young Jewish adults get a rare opportunity to explore the heart of Torah study in Jerusalem—many for the first time in their lives.

Led by Rabbi Meir Levinger, in the Men's Yeshiva, this inspiring session introduces participants to the profound teachings of Chassidus and Kabbalah, opening their minds and hearts to Judaism’s spiritual depth. They engage in honest conversations, ask big questions about G-d, purpose, and identity, and experience firsthand the vibrant environment of a real yeshiva.

The impact is immediate and lasting—many describe it as a life-changing moment and one they’ve dreamed of experiencing.

At the Mayanot Women's Learning Program, over 100 women have experienced the life changing classes that are being offered and that they have an opportunity to return to and take a deeper dive into.

One such student stated, “I really want to come back and stay for longer, their 3 week session sounds like an amazing opportunity to deep dive into my Judaism.

As we prepare to welcome more students this summer, we’re excited to continue creating these powerful moments of discovery and growth. Whether it’s their first time encountering Torah study or a step deeper into their spiritual path, Mayanot is where Jewish journeys begin and flourish.
