This past winter, we proudly welcomed 329 Volunteer participants, each of whom dedicated their time, passion, and energy to making a tangible difference in communities across Israel. Their contributions exemplify the power of young individuals coming together to give back, connect with their heritage, and deepen their understanding of Jewish identity.
As we set our sights on the upcoming
summer, we are filled with excitement for what’s ahead. We anticipate welcoming
approximately 1,500 Birthright
participants and around 750
Volunteer participants, with numbers continuing to rise as interest in
these life-changing experiences grows. Our Volunteer program is rapidly
expanding, attracting participants from Australia, Europe, the USA, and Canada,
with new additions every day. Each participant becomes part of a vibrant
network, connecting with peers from around the world while immersing themselves
in the rich cultural and historical fabric of Israel.
Birthright Israel remains committed to
fostering meaningful partnerships to enhance the experience for participants.
This summer, we are collaborating with
33 Chabads on campus to bring even more young Jewish adults on an inspiring
journey of self-discovery, connection, and engagement with their Jewish
heritage. Our shared mission is stronger than ever, ensuring that every
participant feels empowered, supported, and connected to their roots.
This commitment to deepening Jewish
connections was recently highlighted in a historic way. At the Kinus
Hashluchim, the annual international conference for Chabad emissaries,
Birthright Israel proudly hosted its first-ever event for Chabad on Campus Shluchim—an
event that has been years in the making.
Led by Mr. Josh Bacon, Director of
Birthright Israel Trips at Taglit-Birthright Israel, this landmark gathering in
Crown Heights, Brooklyn, brought together 40 passionate Shluchim from across
the USA. Together, they celebrated 25 years of Birthright Israel’s impact and
reaffirmed their dedication to strengthening Jewish identity, even in
challenging times.
This is not just a trip—it’s a movement. A movement of connection, resilience, and hope. Join us as we continue to build a bright and thriving future for Jewish life!
