Mayanot students travelled down to the site of the Nova festival on Oct 7, 2024 -
they are pictured here gathering to hear a survivor tell his story of saving countless lives.

We had the privilege of visiting Ofakim, a town on the border of Gaza, where we were welcomed into the homes of families who had suffered deeply. These families shared the heroic stories of their loved ones, who gave everything in their fight to protect their neighbors and their families from Hamas terrorists.
It was an emotional experience. We cried with them, danced with them, and brought the warmth and love that defines Mayanot and Am Yisrael. Through our visit, we hoped to bring strength and comfort, standing with them in solidarity and acceptance.
Their courage and resilience inspire us all. Thank you to all those that joined us.
