Welcoming Our NEWEST Mayanot Birthright Trips

Wow! That’s all we can say about the last two years over here at Mayanot Israel. Between navigating the ever changing corona guidelines, learning more than any person should ever have to know about the limitations of 500 meters and having Pesach seders without close friends and family- these last few years have been truly eye opening. But BH, we’ve overcome! The borders of Eretz Yisroel are now open to all (vaxxed or otherwise :)! We are so excited to once again be able to welcome some of the most amazing young people from around the world to partake in our uniquely special Birthright program this upcoming SUMMER Season.

We’re so excited to be expecting thousands of participants this upcoming trip season from all over the United States. We have already been lucky enough to welcome our first group of the new season and are delighted to report that it was truly an inspirational and amazing trip for all parties involved. From traveling to special places like the Kotel in Jerusalem to the amazing wonders of Masada and the Dead Sea to the bustling energy of Tel Aviv, our Mayanot Trip offerings are diverse enough to satisfy any and every participant's specific preferences.

Mayanot is offering a Friendship Circle Trip, for individuals with special needs, and their first ever ASL (American Sign Language) Trip for the deaf and hard-of-hearing community.

“We are very excited to offer these unique programs and bring the gift of Birthright Israel to people that otherwise may not have had the opportunity” said Rabbi Kasriel Shemtov, Executive Director of the Mayanot. “It allows us to connect with even more young Jewish people.”

In partnership with Rabbi Yehoshua Soudakoff, the ASL trip will bring the Mayanot style to this small community. “We’ve hosted such trips before, and we are excited to embark on this journey with Mayanot for the summer 2022 trip” Soudakoff wrote in an email. “The results of these trips are indescribable. A truly life changing experience for many.”

While the Friendship Circle trip is already maxed out, the ASL Trip is still accepting applications at https://bit.ly/3Ial8wv for the June 20-July 1 trip, departing from NYC. This trip is custom tailored for ASL signers and will even include ISL interpreters for the deaf Israeli soldiers who will be joining. The interactive and hands-on, Deaf-friendly itinerary, and expert staff, will afford participants a positive and impactful experience.

To sum it all up- we missed you all more than words can tell and it is our utmost pleasure to be able to “get back to normal” and do what we do best here at Mayanot, offer some of the best Birthright Trips ever with the people who deserve it most. As we continue to welcome thousands of college students from around the U.S., we look forward to bringing together the best tour guides, itineraries and experiences possible to all trip participants who choose to journey with us. We absolutely look forward to welcoming the next generation of special souls who will be able to experience the one of a kind joy that is Mayanot Israel.
